Tomorrow is Valentine
Tomorrow is Valentine, A day of love, a day of pain, For me, it's just a reminder, Of the love that could never be gained. The flowers will bloom, the chocolates will shine, But my heart will remain in this hollow shrine, The memories of you, they still linger on, A bittersweet reminder of what's gone. I'll watch as couples hold hands, and kiss, Their love a flame that burns with tender bliss, But I'll be here, alone in this dark night, My heart a heavy burden, my soul a faint light. Tomorrow is Valentine, A day to celebrate love's sweet design, But for me, it's just a cruel fate, A reminder of the love that I'll never create. So I'll hide from the world, and its cheerful sound, And let the shadows wrap me in their sorrowful wound, For tomorrow is Valentine, And I'm just a heart, broken and forlorn.
