Tomorrow
Tomorrow's sky will be our yard, as we gently drift along the breeze. Make raindrops drip like shooting stars, and lightly splash on fallen leaves. Tomorrow's sea will be our pond, Skipping waves like rippled stones. Watch ocean swells go on and on, as lillies bloom from buds now grown. Tomorrow's hills will be our walls, and softly shaped by our design. Like flowers bent to sunlight calls, the scent of you in every line. Tomorrow's stars will be our torches, like guiding lights on a shadowed deck. When steering beams fade into scorches, I'll lead the way with hopeful breath. Tomorrow's mind is not made up, It calls out to us like moth to flame. So hold me while the world is us, For you and I will stay the same.
