Tomorrow
Please don't cry mama , I'm doing OK just like you said day after day. Hold my head high, drown out the sorrow I put up a fight but I won't see tomorrow. The medicine worked, the pain is at bay. I still feel the demons that won't go away. I tried to escape, there is no place to run. I may win the fight but their battle is won. Please don't cry mama, I'm sleeping tonight a boat into darkness, a beautiful sight. the day I was born I was ripped from your womb, a soul that was lost cascading in doom. I won't see tomorrow but that is OK. I'm so worn out I won't run away. I open my arms and welcome their call. the most beautiful moment that I ever saw I put up a fight but I won't see tomorrow please don't cry mama I've healed all your sorrow.
