TODAY, I CELEBRATE ME
It’s my birthday… and yeah, I’m still here, Still breathing through the doubt and fear. Another year older, not sure what’s new, But I’ve grown — even if no one really knew. I’ve smiled through pain, laughed through stress, Carried weight no one could guess. Some days I felt lost, some nights I broke, But I never gave up — and that’s no joke. So today, I’m not asking for much, Just peace, maybe love, maybe a touch Of clarity, of joy, of light, To remind me why I still fight. I don’t need the biggest cake, Or parties that feel loud and fake. Just a moment to breathe and say: “I made it, man. I made it today.” For the days I doubted I’d survive, For the nights I wished I wasn’t alive, For all the scars that don’t show skin — Today, I celebrate the strength within. Today, I’m not just older — I’m bolder, wise, With fire in my chest and stars in my eyes. Watch me move, watch me ascend — This is just the start. Happy birthday, from me — to me — for making it through.
