To Wordsworth,my inspiration
When I was just a child, I read your daffodils. They danced, so free and wild, Across the open hills. They showed me joy the world can give— They made me feel, they made me live. 2.In college, rain would fall, The class was still and deep. Our teacher read to all, Your words made silence weep. Tintern Abbey stayed with me— Its voice still speaks in memory. 3.Then came your Lucy’s name, So quiet, sweet, and true. She walked where wild things came, With stars and skies in view. I wished to stand near her one day, And watch the trees and light at play. 4.The woods you loved so much, The streams, the wind, the sky— They live in me as such That never will they die. Though I have lost, your poems stay, And help me find my gentle way. 5.You saw the world so clear, In every leaf and stone. You taught me how to hear The earth when I'm alone. Because of you, I see the grace That lives in every quiet place. 6.O Nature, always true— Your voice will leave me never. With Wordsworth guiding through, I'll walk your paths forever.
