To whomever the guy in my drea
~To whomever the guy in my dream Sleeping peacefully when you barge in. A sense of familiarity creeps in. You suddenly appear in my dream, Leaving me questioning a nostalgic feeling. I wander around, not bothering to know you, Casually talking with my friends. Little by little, unease settles in, A quiet bitterness—yet I pity who? A deep urge to find you hunts me down. I keep asking myself where to find you, Until my heart reacts to something That, at first, feels like nothing. I ask my friend for a jacket and run, Through the rain, heavy with worry. I go to a place unknown, yet familiar, Though you are no longer there. I hesitate, but still look for you. Then there you are, standing, watching me. You face me with a painful gaze— I hurt you; that’s what my mind says. I slowly walk toward you, sorry in my eyes. I don’t know what’s happening, but it hurts It hurts to see sorrow on your face. “I’m sorry” is the only word I can say. But isn’t it strange? We were nothing. There was nothing special at all. I didn’t know you, or who you were— I only met you in my dream.
