To The Promised Land

Through desert sands, of trials and strife, He guides us on, to eternal life, A pillar of fire, in darkest night, Illuminating paths, to heavenly light. With Moses' heart, and Joshua's might, He leads the flock, through life's plodding fight, Through wilderness winds, and raging seas, To Canaan's shores, where milk and honey breeze. The Promised Land, a haven of rest, A sanctuary, where love forever nest, A land of abundance, where every need, Is met with abundance, and heavenly seed. He will take us, to the promised shore, Where sorrow's waves, no longer roar, Where tears are wiped, and hearts are light, In the sweet presence, of eternal delight. With every step, through life's uneven road, He walks beside, with a gentle load, Sharing our burdens, and calming fears, And whispering hope, through a thousand tears. His staff of wisdom, guides us on our way, Through life's labyrinth, to a brighter day, His love unfailing, like a river's flow, Quenching our thirst, in the desert's woe.
