To the one doing the hurting
How I stand in the shadows and blame you That you are breaking my damn heart If I had access to a lawyer I'd probably sue But on what grounds, when I'm the one letting you? But surely you should know, you should feel After all I'd already let you know this, I thought I'd let you in on the sharing deal, That'd step by step, in both pain and bliss, Then what's the issue, why am I the only one hurting When I feel this is common to us both, we should be sharing Act a little more alive with me, be present darling, Because I wouldn't have been in this if you were less charming. Bear with me and live in my borrowed shoes, It might be a tad tiring so read my cues, When I say hurt, you hurt, When I say heal, you heal. Because that's sharing That indeed is caring.
