To The Misunderstood Kid
May be stupid, annoying, or useless to them, But to you, it's all that makes sense, You're constantly hiding, afraid of judgment, Cause no one truly understands the you that hides beneath the detachment. "We're older, respect your elders." But respect goes both ways? "You're just a kid. You wouldn't understand it." But yet I had to mature at a young age? They believe that because they are older or more experienced, they deserve automatic respect, But you believe respect is earned from certain people while others, you decide to forget. No, you're not stupid, Useless, Or annoying to be clear, You're just a human being, Struggling in their world that doesn't seem to spare.
