To the friendship
In quiet hours when stars appear, I think of friends I hold so dear. Though miles and oceans lie between, You live in every twilight scene. Your laughter echoes through the air, In silent rooms, you're somehow there. A song, a scent, a line, a breeze — Can stir your presence back with ease. We chased the dawn, we shared the night, In foolish games and quiet fights. Now time and space have drawn their line, Yet still your hearts beat close to mine. No map can track where feelings go, No distance dims the bonds we know. You write your lives on skies afar, But in my soul, you’re guiding stars. So till we meet, just know this true: A part of me still walks with you. Though you're not here, you're never gone — In every memory, you live on. Rajeev
