To The Fallen Soldier

You know so many times I lay and close my eyes How often I forget to thank the ones that gave their lives The proud and the many that went to war for me And who lost their lives and family over seas So before I lay down in this bed and turn off my light Dear Lord I ask you keep them all by your side And please let each of them know I'm grateful to each one Amen my lord and I salute my fallen soldier that is gone By Benny Crabtrey Jr
