To my Younger Self
When I looked back, I saw shattered pieces of my heart, Crying noises, people surrounding, blaming me from the start. My own parents hated me, their words still echoing in my mind: "Why were you born? Why won't you die?" Oh, my younger self, I'm sorry For not loving myself, for not being strong. My friends left me, saying I wasn't good enough, Not "chill" enough to be their friend. But now, in 2025, I'm taking back control. I'll mend my heart, broken by the words of others. I'll tell my parents, "I care about you, but I'll live my life my way." I'll be my own friend, my own guiding light. I'll become the best version of myself, shining bright.
