to my sister
Sometimes you tell me you feel like no one notices like you’re just a whisper in a room full of shouting voices. But I notice. I see the way your hands shake when the weight of the world presses too heavy. I see how you fight battles that no one else can name, and still manage to love so deeply, so fiercely. Anxiety may wrap itself around your chest, but it cannot erase the light you carry. You mean the whole world to me not a piece, not a corner, the whole world. When you feel unseen, I will hold up the mirror so you remember: you are radiant, you are strong, you are enough. You are my sister, and nothing not silence, not shadows, not even the loudest fear could ever take that away.
