To my parents again
My mother never asked why my eyes were red. My father only noticed me when I made a mistake........ They birthed me, gave me a name and a roof didn't raise me, I raised myself alone, consoled myself whenever needed hugged myself when my father was busy pat myself for being me when compared to other kids... and I survived...all alone they didn't teach me love, I learned it from the silence... whispered myself "its okay" when the house was too loud. wiped my own tears when their words cut too deep. held my own hand when the world felt too heavy. taught myself to survive in a house, That never felt like home......!!!!
