To my mother
My mom hit me as a kid But there was always a reason as to why she did Atleast thats what she would say to you But dont believe everything coming out of her mouth is true She would rather have her tounge cut out Than for you to put her words in doubt She craved your pity more than anything Yet she claimed she doesnt need it Always keeping her pride Not once losing it,she would've rather died But she is human too Just like me and you Yet she never lets her walls melt Acting like she never felt But I know she has I felt the love of her hands I also felt their rage Everytime the wrong glance would exchange I love you She says while making my skin blue I love you too I say to her Because I would rather watch my skin turn blue Than feel that her dissapointment grew
