To have flown with the birds
It follows the wind carried over pastures over hills and through the sky. Mother nature, its master The wind its guide In darkness it drowns yet colour surrounds And it floats, carelessly, away. Leaving all worries astray It follows the wind, carried over pastures over hills and through the sky. Mother nature, its master The wind its guide. Over valleys and hill it goes From the clouds then to treetops it blows, As it begins it's decent to the gound Slowly, it will make it's way down Where it will find it's resting place It will lay deflated Fallen from grace The rainbows still shine For adventure it pines But Without air to fly, it's purpose is lost. The joy it had brought in the mind of a child forever caught
