To Dance Among The Rain Again
I love the rain I love to watch the storm clouds roll slowly in There is something so romantic about rain to me I love how it can sprinkle or pour I love to watch the rain leave Even if it makes me sad it's going At least it stopped by The way it trickles down leaves and from the house Dripping onto the wet pavement and grass Puddles forming slowly in the dirt and mud I love the rain Especially the storms The way the thunder and lightning crackles The summer rain warm and bright The spring rain chilly and common The fall rain the perfect excuse to cuddle Night rain quiet and peaceful Morning rain that recolors the world The evening rain that hits the windshield as you drive I've always loved to play in the rain Come inside dripping and laughing I could dance to the rain's song all day If only it would last I used to be scared of the heavy storms The way the thunder shook the house But I slowly grew to love how the single snap Could make the world whisper hushed voices The brave birds who sing after the rain leaves The crickets and cicadas buzz in the wet leaves I love the rain I just wish it was still acceptable To dance among the raindrops One last time
