To Be=To Am

To be is to am and to am is to be but I am neither. I stand on a ledge between the two one of my own design and it stands where no one can see me To be normal is to fit in and to fit in is to be normal and I will never be either. I walk around the people looking for what to eat and I feel sick to my stomach thinking about it To eat is to survive and to survive is to eat so I will die here on the cold floor. I walk quickly and quietly to the bathroom I go to to the toilet, raise my fingers and gag as I try to look pretty To be human is to live and to live is to be alive so I guess I do not live. My friends ask me to go out with them but I will decline all summer because I'm too tired and too ugly To be is to am and to am is to be so I am not. I will be on this ledge forever where no one can see me and no one can save me.
