To be real sPacific
The rise and thrash of the tides in the sea Have always been the representation of you and of me Of how we were never truly meant to be And the accepting of our purpose to set each other free We've stripped our shackles and replaced them with intimacy A reminder of the depth that lies just beneath Although the surface level was so mucky and bleak; A lesson that beauty is more than skin deep And when the tide was calmer, a little more somber You and I would lie awake. Sometimes, we'd see clearly that which we hold dearly and we'd reflect on every mistake. And every time I see those tides rise And crash and collapse infinitely I'll remember the nights when the shackles were so tight And how you helped me to break myself free.
