To be loved or not to be loved
To be loved or not to be loved is the question. A gentle kiss against thy lips could be the curse. But was I really ever his first? The grasp of his hand is so rough. Could I or will I ever be enough. Playful little dates could be so sweet. The way he seems to be so neat could really become incomplete Greatest love of all time, is now the worst friendship of mine. Shall I say yes to this quest or will it become a mess. The flutter of what could be next if it is him, but the sense of the last text is not what I want to come next. The sound of wedding bells in the future, maybe this could end up with me running down the altar. Two little kids with a heart of their own, My career now being alone. We could watch them grow, my love for them will then never show. We could grow grey and old, or lose a lover to be on my own. To be loved or not to be loved is the question as I am pandering on why love is such a heartache. Tis why my lover shall never be ‘my’ knight.
