To be loved by a poet
Scarps of masterpieces scattered on the floor Laying down with the pages with you I dwell on the peace you let me be yours You were a muse that heaven found. As fate connects us to be a kingdom We met a long time ago far away Where all the chances I could take were you Fetching on the glamour of the moon I lean on the balcony with glazing lights Everyone dances and smiles away I walk away till I stumble by a lady The scent lingered as I softly gazed up My eyes light up as you take the floor It was a fate of string I took a leap Swinging to the dance as we trip and laugh Holding your cheek I feel a warm feeling Your eyes met my gaze, brimming with curiosity I laugh and let go of my hand I realize I was being silly to a drunk lady Clock strikes as the string unravels letting us go Silent to the dusky old castle I sit alone Humming a tone as I wrote poems for you To tell the world a graceful lady came to me Words unspoken, but in my writing, I love you Upon a shooting star in the distance I would tell the world your story
