To Be Good or Evil
To be good, or evil, such quandary deep, In virtue's path, or wicked secrets keep. For goodness brings peace, and joy profound, Evil's allure, a darkness to confound. To do what's right, with kindness in our hearts, Or choose the shadows, where darkness imparts. Yet good and evil, like two sides entwined, Blend in the tapestry of humankind. For good can falter, and evil may redeem, A complex dance in life's uncertain dream. Through light and shadows, emotions run wild, Within our souls, both good and evil compiled. So let us balance, with wisdom profound, Embrace the darkness, but with goodness crowned. To be good or evil, the choice is our own, In every action, our true selves are shown. Let not our judgments, on others be cast, For who's to say which path will truly last? For in this journey, where destinies diverge, Unity and completeness, we must urge. In every pair of rhyming lines we weave, A glimpse, perhaps, of unity we achieve.
