To Be a Toy
Some days i wish I was just like a toy Customizeable, liked To be held like a little boy To have strings to hold me still Buttons in place of my eyes Sewing to keep me one As my vision blends to a world of lies To be adored For someone to keep me as an act of kindness But for that i'm foretold And succumb only to eternal blindness To play and have fun Maybe a wish can bring some hope Though, it changes nothing As i only could dream of such love Thoughts hurt Both a blessing and a curse Oh, to not have a brain Not to live with a burdening remorse Maybe be placed on a display box So everyone could see Praying someone sees prettiness That even i can't view in me Whether i am of porcelain or cloth It would end up the same A weak, fragile being Must be the material i was made As i'd fly up and down Be thrown around I guess i wouldn't mind much If it's from a genuine bound I only could dream of it being that easy That my looses could be pulled back Of them not being so bad Perhaps i wouldn't be lost on my track But then, realisation hits Always, i wished to be a toy Yet, i'm already one Being used by others to enjoy
