To be a man
No one understands how I feel— I'm walking down a lonely road, Carrying burdens no one sees, Crushed beneath this heavy load. They don’t care what’s in my heart, They just say, “It’s your duty.” No respect, no love, no light— Just shadows where there should be beauty. I feel like giving up sometimes, But I remember: this is life’s cruel spin. Still, I can’t hide what’s breaking inside, This battle I’m too tired to win. I’m treated like a third wheel— Unseen, unheard, cast aside. If I fall, they walk away, No hands, no hope, no guide. I want to scream, to cry it out, But my voice is fading low. All my tears are dried and gone— Just silence now, and woe. This darkness wraps around my soul, It’s killing me, day by day. And still, no one stops or sees— They all just turn away.
