Tired
I'm tired, so tired, my hands won't raise, I've been toiling and toiling for long, long days. My bones ache, muscles cramped like a cage— Let the devil devour me, I care for no sage. There's boundless things to do, oh alas, I fill and fill but can't fill the glass. I chop them over, and over again grows grass— The clothes get dirtier the more and more I wash. I'm tired, so tired, breaking down, My head feels bursting, face has frown. I care for no wages, no position or crown— I... I think I might as well burn this town.
