Tired
I'm tired of feeling like I'm always behind, Of trying my best and still falling behind the line. I'm tired of pushing myself to the brink, Of feeling like I'm always on the brink. I'm tired of the weight that I carry each day, Of the endless to-do lists that never go away. I'm tired of the pressure to always be strong, Of pretending that nothing ever goes wrong. I'm tired of the noise that surrounds me each day, Of the constant chatter that never goes away. I'm tired of the screens that I stare at each night, Of the endless scrolling that never feels right. I'm tired of the world and all of its pain, Of the endless suffering that drives us insane. I'm tired of the hate that we see every day, Of the endless division that never goes away. But even in my tiredness, I know there is hope, That there is a way to find the strength to cope. For even when the world feels like too much to bear, There is always a way to find someone who cares. So when I'm feeling tired and I can't go on, I reach out for help and I find a new dawn. For even in my weakness, I can find the strength, To keep moving forward, to go the extra length. For life is not easy, and it's not always fair.
