Time
The cool night air saturates the panic and disdain; who cares who sees how I catch my breath and its effect. Tears fall into a thousand crescent seas; I play a melody, and it strikes a nerve, I just can't let well alone be ... we swallowed the truth whole to descend the curve. I buried my hopes in dreams of tomorrow Forfeit the time of learning, refrain from cracking whole from the bottom. I want to fight! Forfeit the pressure. it's building crack the pipes ... So this is what yesterday looked like. Suddenly alive, I rise and wash my face, my head cloudy of the rising warm day. I cut my wrist. Just want to feel the bloods slow steady drip. The scars remind me that nobody is alive during a dream, nobody is aware of their silent screams branch out behind slowly fade back into my steps as we glide. We stink of confusion and fear, I hold my breath as it ruptures knowing painfuly this rebirth will hurt
