Time
I've seen things anew. And watched them grow old. Forgotten the most of what I've been told. My mind is so inconceivably small, But it holds the world, still, it holds it all. Holds like a baby who's learning to grasp, Holding with hands that time tells us won't last. I'd say that's the one thing I maybe know; That all that we hold We have to let go. This life wasn't built to last forever, Prolonging your time's a fool's endeavour, That isn't to say we're better off dead, Whatever you think, it's all in your head - I'll still be here till the day that I'm not, But won't be let go, until I'm forgot.
