Time
In the tranquil expanse of night's hush, Moments unravel, in a tender, fleeting rush, Each ephemeral heartbeat, a pleasant chime, Echoes of existence, in the grandeur of time. Oh, temporal wanderer, with an elusive gait, You etch stories and dreams, in life's delicate slate, A mosaic of yesterdays, in hues of unpaid due, Fades into the ether, with the morrow's debut. In dawn's warm grace, memories unfurl, Glimmering fragments, where emotions twirl, Yet as daylight yields to shadows' design, The passage of hours, like aging wine. Each tick of the clock, a jewel in flight, In the tight grasp of time's delight, A sonnet of joy, a sonnet of woe, Each verse entwined in the ebb and flow. Within the ceaseless river of life's design, Time's handiwork weaves, both yours and mine, Each passing second, a treasure to claim, Lost to man, yet igniting the flame. So let us cherish each rhyme, As we wander through the corridors of time, For within its grasp, both near and far, Resides the essence of who we are.
