A lot has happened Many more have changed I know we can never get back those lost moments Neither should we remain bound to the past All I used to do was to hold on to wrongs done Grudges held on to; had become a cavity in my soul too hard to fill Thankfully, He had cleared out the older things to give room for the new All I intend to do now is be grateful for life It had been hard especially for one who had almost been consumed by bitterness Circumstances all around capable of plunging me deeper into inexplicable loneliness With no strength to remain buoy, drowning and helpless Closing my eyes, I had retired to a fate I would have never envisioned But at that final moment, all I could do was to murmur an incoherent plea for help And just as my hope was vanishing, He came through for me I could have sworn that my life had flashed before my eyes And in the next moment, I found my feet grounded on solid rock If He hadn't come through for me, my life could have been lost or worse I had already lost the will to live But now, living daily experiencing heaven on earth Not because everything became rosy But because even in the midst of it all, there's a joy that I can't explain nor contain © Mega_word
