To Those In Love With The Dying. Fellow lovers of those soon to return to the earth, I concur with your pain. Trully, I do. I relate to the time spent wailing in the opposite of mornings, And the beauty noticed in the flickering candles of their eyes. I relate to the downcasted eyes and the forced smiles. I relate to the realisation of a love that was once so translunar Twisting at its axis and falling sublunary. Oh the ardor of the past, Swimming through your veins, mixing itself inbetween the oxygen that your heart receives. Reminding you of what was and never will be. How I wish, how I so wish it could be. If only, if only humans had the power to hold those who attempt to float back down If only the earth didn’t crave back the dust it donated to make us Then perhaps there would be less floating and returning to dust. But unfortunately, we can not deprive Mother Nature of her children For our selfish desires, we have had them for long enough. All that is left is the anxiety which has replaced the tickings of time.
