thorns in the truth
The rose a pretty flower really but then you touch the thorns and the red on your hands match the red of the petals and it's not too pretty any more white lies insignificant really and then you tell more and more till they block the door your escape from the truth now you're backed into a corner no escape tell the truth but you can't not really because your white lie has grown to be significant you don't want it to prick you like the thorns on a rose and make you bleed your dignity out for it to be put on display for you to be put to shame that thorn on the rose that little white lie that escape from the truth was insignificant really till you're covered in red that matches the red of the rose petals that are attached to the the rose that holds the thorns in the truth
