This Too Shall Pass
****An introduction to the first ebook of poetry I am currently working on. Follow me for more information about its release, if you wish.**** Deep inside a tomb of flesh With bones, for rebar lies A heart entombed within a chest A secret crypt does hide In this shallow grave, a casket secrets kept Where no one knows a heart lay dead No one cares, no one wept It suffered long in it's time with so much heartache and pain Only I know it's cause of death, or that it died in vain... This unknown crypt that holds my heart and the records memory did keep carefully filing them one by one, away as I did sleep so instead of stone or eulogy, I'll honor and disclose the autopsy details between these two covers, on many sheets and on this marker you will find an epitaph warning words, of this aftermath That someday when you feel the reaper lingering, instead of falling victim, you will know-- That, This Too Shall Pass...
