This Lonely Ocean
they say their are plenty of fish in the ocean The ocean is cold and wide The tides drag you in and spit you out or they never let go swimming through the darkness i want to find a light, im scared the lower i go the darker it gets where did everybody go? The fish are looking scary do i look scary too? in the deepest parts of the ocean i only see you a figment of what i want a ball of light just out of reach for me where did i go wrong? where did i mess up? I would split the ocean i would reverse tides if i could never have lost you a catch that got away i swim on a search a search for my light my light may not be the brightest in this lonely ocean, a light is all i need
