This is Me 2023.
TRIGGER WARNING ⚠️⚠️⚠️ (SH and language) This is me 2023. I wrote this small thing on my mirror. But nothing has changed, the trees are still green. And I am still filled with terror. How can this be the new me? This is me 2023. Nothing has changed, I still take the blame. And I still drag a blade across me skin. My family still put me to shame. Can anyone tell me when did this begin? This is me 2023. The pressure in my lungs seem to fade. The noise in my mind does the same. I question if the is just 'another shade.' I barely even know my own damn name. This is me 2023. The blade I hold doesn't hold anymore power. I'm taking care of myself more now than ever. The thoughts of wanting to die don't tower. Because of the lines I now sever. This is me 2023. Maybe I have changed this year. I've moved from barely surviving to thriving. It's harder now to shead a tear. Now that I know how to swim, I ready for diving. This is me 2023.
