This is love, right?
People describe love as something to be happy about, an emotion to be proud of feeling since it's a bond between people who care about each other greatly. If that's the case, can I really call what I feel for you love if I regret ever falling for you. Is it truly love if I'm always agonizing over this immense solidarity I feel. Maybe love is meant to hurt because how would I know I actually love you if I don't suffer due to you not feeling the same way I do. Of course I hope one day I find the right girl soon and experience a long, happy relationship, but it also hurts knowing it won't be you. Similarly, I wish for your happiness and for you to find the love of your life, no matter the amount it pains me to acknowledge that in no universe, reality, or timeline will it be me.
