This Child, My Child
As my child slept so peacefully last night. I gazed at her in the dimeness of the night. Her body at rest from a long and busy day, so beautifully peacefully in her own special way. This child, my child Once so fragile and small, has grown from a seedling, so beautiful and bright. She has learned how to walk and speak her own mind, her past days of helplessness left far behind. This child, my child with a smile that beams, I wish for her contentment, fullfillment of dreams, I give her my love with all that I do and guide her through life with goals to persue. Our memories should hold such a colorful display of 1st words, 1st steps, 1st time at play, make each day important, don't rush her too fast. Take time and enjoy her, making memories last. Your child needs love, as much as you do, give love to your child and she will return it right to you...
