Thinking of the Future

I have had a revelation Laughing about the future with her She makes me want to see the future See another day another week another year Whatever I have left to live She makes me plan years down the road She makes me come up with plans outta nowhere She makes me feel so in the moment She has me thinking about the future No one has ever been able to make me think about it They plead with me to make it that day She just sat with me through the rough nights Like she knew I'd make it I used to never see the future Be too intoxicated or hungover to be in the moment But here I am Here we are Laughing about the future
