things I do for love

The things I do for love are always the hardest I am always told if you love someone set them free and they may come back to you. what happens when they don't come back. The pain of it all the tears that come from your eyes. the moment you feel your heart break. The worst feeling in the world. I have changed who I am to make people happy. I try put on a happy face when all I truly feel is pain. I cry and I scream..there nothing I can do. I have done things I thought would make him happy. It was never enough yet fooled me into thinking it was. The things I do for love may not make sense to anyone but me...now I do not see where my efforts have gone. I will just meant to be alone I didn't realize asking for someone to be a decent person was too much to ask..
