thin lines
etched in my mind like lines in a dime are our memories. unforgettable, they seem, and they're tearing at the soul in me. a chariat of truth spent to wage war in you. a fabled tale told to disguise its ruse. flying high, to hide the demon in you. fragile roots don't take hold in saturated soils. they rot and spoil like the heart in you. carry my grief to show your work. expose my weaknesses to display the truth. I find in me what I lost in you. fortunes favor a blissful excuse, and lost love is what plagues you. thin lines you will fall thru from the weight of this burden in you. sorrow now holds onto you, so hug it back and expose the truth. thin lines all over you.
