These nights
I crave many a thing at the light of day, The fleshy cars I see myself driving, The maginficicent mansions I change day to day, A decent workplace with a family of colleagues, Or perhaps a class filled with sleepy students and a lecturer working hard against that, The laughter I share with my friends, Sentimental calls I make to my family, Hugs and kisses I share with my lover. But the nights are different, I just want quiet, Absolute blank thoughts, Staring at my roofing or stars, thinking about nothing, And well, perhaps my lover laying by my side, Hugs and kisses being as timeless as they are.
