There's Nothing Left Apr 6, 2023 There's nothing left in this heart of mine, you've drained me yes you have I once had love but it's all gone the pain is unbearable how am I to heal from this. There's nothing left this soul wishes he had more, more than enough love but... the quest to self love starts here and now I am seeking myself what I ignored beckons me. There's nothing left in this once fruitful heart, it's beauty stripped and lost where else would they see the heart I used to have I did hope you'd keep me but I am but lost lost to you. There's nothing left only floods remain, where there was life now has turned dark dark beyond my dreams those dreams of us now are just mirages one I was never in. There's nothing left there used to be, now all I seek is myself I could never be cruel but they keep pushing pushing until...... the rest is left unsaid until then there's nothing left in me you've taken it all. ©Adiela Michael Osiah.
