there once was a murder
There once was a murder But this one had a twist The victim was my innocence Stolen by piercing words and heavy fists It wasn't a normal crime scene There was no blood or gore. Only my tired broken body laying lifeless on the floor. There was no evidence that was left. Except what was imprinted on my soul I tried to rub them off But he ruined me as a whole. My kids the only witnesses Besides my own two eyes But at first I didn't see the truth Thru his manipulations and his lies. Just like most murders There were many tears shed Except they weren't from friends or family But from me instead. He never left any clues Not one single trace Except the memories inside of me That I can't ever erase. The police never found my body Because it's still around I'm a prisoner in my own skin I'm lost and can't be found. This wasn't a normal murder But its changed parts of me The girl inside my body Is no longer me There was never a funeral And no one cared how I died Forever tramatized and damaged Of the nightmares that i lived now buried inside
