There Is No Rest in Peace
there be no sleep in grief there is no bed in bad times where life seems to beat itself to a different tempo now everything seems to be in deaf tones try to get back, clicking that metronome lay down when you come home let thoughts fill up ya dome wild and wonderful but you ain't alone there's a voice giving you no sleep no dreams said just keep your screams inside alive real eyes realize real lies when the rat in the under ya nose when the elephant seems to hide behind a hose you can't relax always on ya toes life moving and faster and you can't keep up feeling like a turtle against something in the wind a molecule some dust knock the rust off first off let's get some clear there is no sleep in dread you can't rest ya eyes when you in bed but come to peace and you'll be led straight ahead to glorious meadows afar lay ya head and count the cars drift the sand man cause he sad plan you can tap to the rhythm but this isn't band fam feeling like soft waves but you on land fam? always resting always messing with everything count blessings cause they mean so much the smallest of such always something you can beat help a stranger down the street there is no rest in peace that's my message so peace.
