There Are Shadows In The Rain
Outside my window is the dawn, The sky is hung so sad and grey. From the sky, the rain is drawn. Nature's work is on display. When there are shadows in the rain; Raindrops dance in pitter-patters. Sometimes I feel so melancholy. I wonder if it really matters. I hear nature's symphony In word-whispers soft and true. A hush of sounds of empathy, It does the gentle air imbue. Silvery rivulets of water run Gracefully down the window pane. A million raindrops are undone, And will never be the same. Then the droplets ease my pain. Because I know that within some hours, The golden sun will shine again And bring the lovely springtime flowers. Splendor in the misty air, Earth's many secrets to be told. Melodic beauty of the fair, But mystic world of very old. Pogo
