The yellow flower
The small flower that comes out from a smooth soil The soil that when one touches, feels its smoothness The soil that one uses to root up the flower The flower that when it starts growing without anyone's care Just like a long lost child, protected by the soil A flower that feels people's sorrow from far, A flower that helped one's heart to heal without being asked. Its colour is as bright as the sun in the sky. A colour reaches out to those who don't notice. The colour that represents healing to those who are hurt, A colour that that brings peace to one's life. A flower that blooms mostly in summer, it blooms like a child from poverty, To an adult that fought against the world. A flower that blooms to see the world, To wipe the tears of those forsaken. A flower that wishes goodness to all, That grows in a home filled with pain and sorrow, to ease them. To protect the unnoticed child A daughter of an unknown father, A daughter that is unseen, called a curse A daughter that is seen as a curse, hated by all, Cared by those who want. A daughter that grew in a broken family, Raised with many accusations of life. Born to live, but lived to suffer. But saved by the yellow flower.
