The World Keeps Spinning
It cries out in desperation, begging for the world to pause, to give it a break it feels it so desperately needs. The world keeps spinning, and life continues. It pleads with the world for time to find what it seeks, be it itself or a piece of itself. The world keeps spinning, and the pieces find their way back to each other. Please stop, only for a moment! It begs for a moment to wrap its scraped knee, having tripped over shoes it didn't quite fill. The world keeps spinning, the skin heals smoothly over time, and the feet will fill the shoes. Millions of pleas and cried fill the air, begging for the world to halt, merely momentarily, so the may catch their breaths. Their sobs fall on dead ears and the world keeps spinning, providing the air for those smart enough to take a breath instead of suffocate crying. The world keeps spinning. It will not listen to those cries, it will not pause its necessary rotation to give a break to those who beg. The world keeps spinning, and the cries waste themselves. It is not cruel, spinning so that everything is precisely how it should be, wild and utterly free. The world keeps spinning, giving the option to spin with it or stay and be left as a memory, completely the users choice. The world will not beg for it to spin, nor for it to stay. The world will not beg for you to spin, nor for you to stay. The world keeps spinning, leaving everything as it needs to be; leaving you exactly as you need to be, with the choice and the freedom to choose.
