The Wishing Well
As I sit on a wishing well, My eyes falter, everyone can tell, I move away, but stay in place, The look of sadness upon my face, I turn around, see your smile, The feeling I feel, can be felt for miles, My heart races, my soul swells, Could it be magic, from the wishing well, I went from down, to up, looking in your eyes , I see the beauty of heaven, like stars in the skies, Your smile is so fascinating, and so pure, I know this is love, I have to be sure, I toss a coin down Into water, Say my wish, I have to be certain about this, You can't be here, you can't be true, Is this really happening, is it really you, One thing is for certain cause I can truly tell, I wished for love, and you met me at the wishing well. There's so many questions, I need to ask, I had a long journey, and a rough past, Is this really fate, Or magic I see, Cause this wishing well, Sent an angel to me.
