The Wise Old Blind Man
The old wise man says "It is too cold young one." He points a finger at the storm outside His blind eyes see more than mine. "Why is it your eyes are forever closed?" I ask as he coaxes me inside gently. The fire crackles with a burning passion. He sits with a grunt and begins "Sometimes, one who has seen too much Is made to never see again." My curious young self does not understand. "What do you mean?" A long silence plays out. The only sound is of the fire and Spatter and pitter patter of rain. "You will know with time..." (These events are fully fictional and did not actually play out. (Disclaimer!))
