The Weight of Whispered Words
The Weight of Whispered Words By Vijay Sharma Erry Turn every page till you reach the end, Read every word before you press 'send', For once a thought is cast in ink, It breathes beyond what we might think. Look for the truth between the lines, Where quiet, hidden meaning shines. A hasty hand can break a trust, And turn a golden bond to dust. So pause a while, let patience guide, Keep superficial rush aside. Measure the weight of what you say, Before you give the soul away. The digital world is swift and cold, Where fragile stories are bought and sold. A second's lapse, a careless click, Can strike the heart just like a brick. We build our walls with heavy stone, Yet bleed through screens when left alone. The voice we send across the blue Should carry care, and carry true. So let the rhythm of your mind Be gentle, deliberate, and kind. For words possess a quiet might To heal the hurt or start a fight. Go deep into the chapters read, Absorb the lessons that they bled. No shortcut brings the wisdom home, No hurried steps can build a Rome. Then finalize with steady grace, Leave honesty within this space. When final periods are aligned, You leave a piece of heart behind.
